I was shooting the moon again tonight, and thought I would try something different and focus in on the leaves on the bush in the foreground instead of on the moon...this is the result. That little bit on the bottom, the red part, is a corner streetlight.

what settings did you use for this? I want to play with some shots like this but I'm having a hard item getting a balance between aperture and exposure to allow such a clean shot in low light. Are you using a special lens?
I've only been using a SLR camera for a year so I have lots of questions about these sort of things.
What a great shot - I love that you share what you were thinking and how you achieved the photo. It is great for those of us who can not accomplish a shot like this without some help.
