signs of spring

Sometimes you just have to look for it. Granted, with it already getting up into the high 80's here, it definitely feels like spring, but I ventured out into the back yard to see if the red-bud was blooming yet and sure enough, it is!

For some reason, it reminds me of the tree the family has in Mulan, the Disney movie.
